FREE LAUNDRY IS NOT FREE!

The new board has decided that all residents get free laundry. Although, that sounds nice and generous, there are several catches.

The washers and dryers have been paid for by the homeowners. Our water bill, including the laundry, is over $200,000/year. The machines were an investment for income to cover some of the water bill expenses.

The 2023 budget shows laundry income of $24,000. Now homeowners will be on the hook for that shortage.

The warranty for the machine repairs will soon expire. Why is the new board not fixing any broken washer/dryers while it is still free to do so? Are they planning to just let them sit there broken?

The board is complaining that there is no money. Why are they not looking to get some income? How soon is the board coming to ask for an assessment increase? Are they going to make it to the end of the year?
